Known to many as Onye Ball, Aspire Academy discovered Henry Onyekuru after a trial in Lagos, which led to a scholarship to go to their base in Qatar. From Qatar, he was able to get a move to Eupen, and as a result of his brilliance, he was invited straight to the Nigerian first team.
